Irlandais de naissance, Vincent Dixon vit aux États Unis
La photographie de rue a été son premier amour et c'est quelque chose qu'il a toujours pratiqué. Au début de sa vingtaine, il quitte l'Irlande, pour s'installer à Paris, en France. Etudiant en sciences à Paris il dévore les oeuvres humanistes de Cartier Bresson, Eugene Smith et André Kertèsz. Grâce à une série d'événements fortuits, sa passion pour la photographie s'est transformée en une carrière de photographe commercial.
Tout son travail de commande, trés construit, est influencé par son attirance pour la photographie de rue, sa spontanéité.
Vincent Dixon a remporté de nombreux prix prestigieux dans son domaine, notamment des Lions d'or, d'argent et de bronze à Cannes, un Gold à l'Art Director's Club, plusieurs Gold aux Epica Awards, un Gold aux London International Awards, le Grand Prix Strategies, le Grand Prix de L'Affichage, le prix de la campagne de l'année, ainsi que de nombreux Gold au French Art Directors Club. Vincent a également été récompensé dans d'innombrables autres concours de photographie et de publicité à travers le monde. Il a été présenté dans Photo District News, Creativity Magazine, et son travail est régulièrement publié dans Luerzer's Archive et Communication Arts.

Biography
Vincent Dixon was born and raised in Kilkenny, Ireland. He relocated to Paris, France in his early 20's which is where he discovered his true passion, photography. Shortly after starting his professional career, he was quickly awarded some of the top campaigns in Europe such as Absolut Europe & Perrier. Those highly visible campaigns, among others, quickly gained him notoriety throughout Europe and North America.
Vincent's work consistently exhibits a refined sense of style, humor, and a precise attention to detail. An early champion of digital imaging, Vincent embraced the developing technology and quickly made it an integral tool in his work. He continually pushes boundaries, and has become well known for his exceptional ability to merge the fantastic with reality.
He has won many of the top awards in the field including gold, silver, and bronze Lions at Cannes, Gold at the Art Director's Club, Multiple Golds at the Epica awards, Gold at the London International Awards, Grand Prix Strategies, Grand Prix de L'Affichage, and the campaign of the year as well as many Golds at the French Art Directors club. Vincent has also been recognized in countless other photo and advertising competitions around the world. He has been featured in Photo District News, Creativity Magazine, and his work is regularly seen in Luerzer's Archive and Communication Arts.
Vincent currently lives in New York City with his wife and their four lovely children.
